This is how you can arrange your driver’s license appointment

If your driver’s license is about to expire or you need to obtain it for the first time, you must complete your procedure with the State Secretary of Transportation, and due to the contingency for COVID-19 you must obtain your online dating so you can be cared for.

According to the Director of Licensing and Driver Registry of Setran, Gabriel Ramírez, currently the period to schedule an appointment is 20 calendar days, for which the person interested in acquiring his license must take his time.

Currently said, they cater to up to 800 appointments daily in the main offices, located in Setran, while in the rest of the modules there is a capacity to serve up to 150 people per day by headquarters.

Setran recommends that you ignore “coyotes” or alleged managers who offer to make the appointment or the procedure, since in many cases the licenses issued are false, which also becomes a crime for which the motorist could pass up to six years in prison, in accordance with the State Penal Code. “The procedure is personal, nobody can come to do the procedure for another person to avoid acts of corruption,” added the director of licenses.
