Developer BioWare has released a brief update for both the new Mass Effect and the next Dragon Age game.
In a new blog post General Manager Gary McKay shares a brief update on both RPGs and shares the impact the pandemic has had.
“Of course we will continue to work hard on the next Dragon Age and Mass Effect games,” said McKay. “I’ve already seen great work from both teams.”
for Mass Effect, McKay recommends that players take a good look at the game’s recent poster.
“If you’re interested in learning more about Mass Effect, I recommend you take another look at the poster we released with N7 Day. If you look closely, you’ll see quite a few hidden surprises. at least five, all pointing to the exciting future of the Mass Effect universe.”
McKay also spoke about Dragon Age 4, saying that “we have a group of veterans working on the next game in the franchise. We’re focusing on a single-player experience built on the choices the player makes.”
McKay said his doing as BioWare’s GM is to rebuild the studio’s reputation. Following the positive response to Mass Effect Legendary Edition, McKay says the goal for any game is to reach that quality. Both Dragon Age 4 and Mass Effect appear to be far from finished as no official names, confirmed platforms or release date have been announced yet.
