The Jalisco Prosecutor’s Office reported that the theft would be the motive for the aggression in which two people who worked as private security guards died in facilities where antennas of Channel 44 of the University of Guadalajara (UdeG) are located.
The state prosecutor, Gerardo Octavio Solís Gómez, explained that based on versions of relatives concluded that the possible motive for the attack was the theft of a motorcycle. He insisted that it was not an attack against the canal’s facilities.
“Presumably, the issue of theft could also be involved in reasons of the data that relatives or some close people have contributed. It is not known that the attack was directed at the television company. By reference to a close person, one of the victims refers that a motorcycle was not found, which indicates the possibility of theft, the fact that they were attacked on the outside of the property ”, he stated.
The state official He did not present information on the subjects who committed the murders and so far there have been no detainees.
He commented that the governor was informed of the progress in the investigation and that the head of the state Executive Branch contacted the rector Ricardo Villanueva Lomelí to inform him of the progress in the investigation.
After the attack on the Canal 44 facilities in Cerro del Cuatro, the University of Guadalajara spoke out demanding justice. They demanded that what happened be clarified, those responsible for the attack be arrested and justice be done to the families of the deceased.
