Less polluting than gasoline, a stable and attractive cost: LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) is attracting more and more consumers. Sales by manufacturer Dacia illustrate this trend.
It has something to seduce motorists: LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) is the only fuel whose price per liter does not exceed one euro. At the pump, a full tank is almost half the cost of gasoline. “I halved my fuel budget,” says one convinced user. This success is reflected in the sales of new cars, such as at this dealership, where customers are increasingly asking for fuel.
Another success linked to the first: sales of the Dacia Sandero soared this year. “Today, when I look at my orders, I have almost only LPG,” says Sarah Brianchon, sales advisor at Dacia. “I will be a winner from the first fill-ups, most of the time I will be driving on LPG”, estimates the buyer of a brand new Sandero. Today, one in seven stations offers LPG.
