The morning before, the driver of the National Rally candidate for the 2022 presidential election noted inscriptions on seven vehicles: insults targeting Marine Le Pen were written on four of them and the slogan “Z 2022”, referring to Eric Zemmour’s candidacy, out of the other three. The driver took photos, while the candidate’s security officer notified the police.
These insults come as Wednesday, December 22, Sandrine Rousseau, the president of the political council of Yannick Jadot, ecological presidential candidate, lodged a complaint after “Zemmour activists drummed, stuck leaflets” on his door, had- she announced on Twitter.
The National Pole against online hatred also opened an investigation for “death threats and incitement to racial hatred” that same day, after the broadcast of a video in which two supporters of Eric Zemmour take the stage shooting Emmanuel Macron and the elected France rebellious Raquel Garrido and Alexis Corbière.
