This sanction linked to a refusal of vaccination is “a rare event” in the gendarmerie because it is “little faced with the problem”, added the same source.
Since September 15, the gendarmes assigned in the field or in contact with the public must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, according to a note from the General Directorate of the National Gendarmerie (DGGN). According to Sud Ouest, a new squadron leader of the Langon company has been appointed and will take up her duties at the beginning of January.
