Claudia Salas, deputy president of the Finance Commission of the local Congress, affirmed that they are in the last revisions of the budget project for 2022 and did not rule out its approval today.
Nevertheless, The member of the Citizen Movement (MC) bench denied that it seeks to affect the resources for the University of Guadalajara (UdeG), as the rector Ricardo Villanueva Lomelí assured through social networks.
The legislator rejected that it is an albazo. He explained that although the representatives of the agencies seeking to increase their income for next year have been attended to, he specified that listening to them does not imply that all requests will be covered.
“We are going to be working on all the requests that are on the budget. The route is to work as long as necessary and also tomorrow (today) until we have everything ready. I am still going to receive Cepad (Center for Justice for Peace and Development) on the issue of missing persons, the Civil Hospitals and organizations of women’s groups, ”said Salas.
On the other hand, UdeG announced that members of the University Network will demonstrate today in the Liberation Square, which is located in front of the Legislative Palace, to demand that the growth proposal for the house of studies not be left out.
“We are calling on all university students who want to accompany us and all parents with children under 15 years of age to accompany us to ask Congress for a fair budget, a budget that allows us to meet the need for classrooms that we are going to have in 10 years. The largest population curve is coming. In 10 years we will have the largest number of applicants in the history of the University and for that we must prepare ourselves”Villanueva said.
“We are not asking for anything unfeasible, simply fair treatment, like what Jalisco is asking of the Federation. We are calling for us to go and tell the deputies that we hope that legality, sanity and good sense will return and that we have the support of Congress to be able to build the classrooms ”, he concluded.
One of the groups will leave, without obstructing traffic, from the Díaz de León y Vallarta building.
