Amsterdam cancels official New Year’s celebrations due to rising corona figures

All planned New Year’s celebrations in Amsterdam have been cancelled, the municipality reported on Monday. This means that the countdown on Museumplein organized by the municipality as well as local fireworks shows and parties will not take place.
