Marvel’s Eternals star Salma Hayek, who plays Eternal’s leader Ajak, has revealed that she’s signed a deal for several Marvel movies.
“I’ve signed multiple deals for movies!” she said. “It was nice to be part of this… secret community that you must continue to protect without fear!”

While the number of films remains a mystery, there is an even bigger question – how will Salma Hayeks Ajak return to the MCU? When you see Marvel’s Eternals, you know pretty early on that Ajak is dead – her scenes follow flashbacks from before she was betrayed by Ikaris and eventually killed by Kro, the leader of the Deviants.
It’s a very clear ending for Hayek’s character, forcing Marvel to get creative if we’re ever going to see the former leader of the Eternals.
It’s possible that Marvel has potential sequels included in the contract, which could lead to an Eternals 2. Then we could see more Ajak flashbacks of her thousands of years on Earth.
It is also possible that Ajak will appear in other Marvel productions. For example, Captain Marvel and Captain America: The First Avenger also take place in other periods, it is not inconceivable that Hayek’s Eternal appears in the middle of a fight.
Marvel’s Eternals is doing quite well at the box office, opening weekend of $71 million. The film is less popular with critics. Eternals is currently the lowest rated movie ever from Marvel with a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 47%.
