Emilio Lozoya arrived at the North Prison
After a long recess to present the evidence in his favor on the Odebrecht case – in which he is accused of receiving millionaire bribes from the Brazilian company – the former director of Pemex, Emilio Lozoya appeared this Wednesday at the North Prison.
09:10 (GMT-6) Emilio Lozoya accompanied by his lawyers arrives at the Federal Criminal Justice Center of the North Prison to appear on the Odebrecht case. He will try to convince the control judge to gather more evidence in his favor.
10:20 The appearance begins. Lozoya’s defense asks for 60 more days to gather the evidence in favor of his client.
10:30 The Prosecutor’s Office proposes to close the complementary investigation stage, justifying that the documents referred to by Lozoya’s defense to request the additional term, are already in the investigation folder. Petróleos Mexicano (Pemex) and the Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF) join the claim.
