The richest man in the world, Elon Musk, would earn in just over a month the total value of the goods and services produced in all of Mexico.
The also director of Tesla and founder of SpaceX added $ 36.2 billion to his net worth in just one day, according to information from the agency Bloomberg.
Considering an exchange rate of 20 pesos, Musk obtained the equivalent of 724 billion pesos. That is, if your daily profit remains constant, it would equal the total wealth generated by Mexico in just 35 days.
With a population of more than 126 million inhabitants, Mexico produced goods and services worth 25 trillion 419 billion pesos in the second quarter of this year, indicates the Gross Domestic Product estimated by Inegi.
Musk owes most of his fortune to his 21% stake in Tesla. In addition, he has a stake in the aerospace company SpaceX, which is also under his management and whose capitalization is valued at around 100 billion dollars.
