Crime in Lima does not discriminate and this time one of those involved is Christian Cueva, forward of Al-Fateh of the Saudi Professional League and the Peruvian team, who spoke out after the theft of a minivan that he gave to a soccer team from minors in the Nocheto area, between the districts of Santa Anita and El Agustino, in Lima.
“I would like to reach out to this person (the thief) and put my hand to the heart and understand that this is a tool for many children who need to fulfill their dreams. It serves a lot for the transfer of them and there may be many low-income families and they cannot be mobilized on a daily basis. Hopefully a solution can be found, in any form or manner ”, he commented in a live that he did on his Instagram account.
“Tell them that this situation was very uncomfortable for me. It was very hard for me and the people who are involved in this. Thank you all for connecting. The authorities will be with us, giving us the help ”, added the flyer that was part of the triple date of October of the South American Qualifiers heading to Qatar 2022.
The minivan with license plate C4I-015 was stolen on October 14 in the La Molina district and the act was captured by security cameras. The complaint was made by Richard Palomino, owner of the youth soccer academy, on Sunday, October 24. According to the complaint, the owner left the vehicle parked while he dealt with some issues between Datileros and Los Membrillos streets.
THEY STOLE MINIVAN THAT CHRISTIAN CUEVA GIVEN
In the district of El Agustino, they stole a mini van that had been donated to a club with children between 5 and 12 years old who wanted to train and develop in soccer. The Peruvian national team player, Christian Cueva, better known as ‘cuevita’, was the one who had this gesture with the children.
The coach of the sports center mentioned at 90 morning that everyone thought that this issue was going to be fixed, that they were going to leave the vehicle in another abandoned place, but the mini van is still missing. In addition, he assures that ‘Cuevita’ made this donation to them on August 13 and it was stolen on October 14.
CUEVA AND YOTÚN JOKE FOR FAILED PENALTIES
The bad times were left behind. Yoshimar Yotún and Christian Cueva met through Instagram and showed a bit of the good atmosphere that exists in the Peruvian National Team. Both players joked with the penalty missed by ‘Yoshi’ against Argentina and the Cruz Azul player did not hesitate to give a warning to all those who were present in the broadcast.
“They are sending you greetings”, said ‘Cuevita’, without thinking about what his partner would respond to in the ‘blanquirroja’. The midfielder who plays in Liga MX did not hesitate to assure that he would kick a penalty on another occasion with the ‘team of all’. They both laughed and later said goodbye affectionately. Both players have shared the dressing room in the national team since 2011, when they were called up by Sergio Markarián for the Kirin Cup.
