You read El Comidista every morning and you even replicate at home the dishes that we take out almost daily. Wouldn’t you like to publish a recipe of yours on our website and also win a prize? I wish fulfilled: we open a bimonthly section -once every two months, it has nothing to do with any sexual tendency-, Guest Comidista, in which you can become a comidister for a day and see your name stamped on our virtual pages just by sending one recipe and one or more photographs of a category of dishes that we will tell in advance. Also, if you are the winner you will get the juicy and complete pack Ondarreta from our beloved store Amaiketako, valued at 177 euros and composed of asparagus from Lodosa, acorn-fed Iberian ham or bonito from the north in oil, among other products. Impossible to ask for more from a culinary contest.
But what do I have to do?
In this first edition, we suggest that you send us your own soup recipe, now that the cold is beginning to appear. The one you want and with the ingredients you want, as long as we have not published it in El Comidista. Those that are on our website, no. We will value three things: that it is a soup, the creativity and originality of the recipe and the quality of the photographs that you send us, since we will publish them if you are the chosen one.
How can I participate?
The first thing, you must be of legal age. Do you know what a phone booth is and not quite TikTok? Okay, you’re an adult, go ahead, you can send the recipe and the photos to the email [email protected] with the subject “Guest Comidista Soups”. To that email and with that matter, please, the absurd doubts and the readings of the future to the other, the one that Mikel uses for Aló.
You have from today until next Friday, November 5 at 11:59 p.m. to send us your soup proposal. More than enough time to balance amounts of ingredients and take some good photos on the plate. We will announce the selected recipe for this first Guest Comedian the following Friday, November 12th.
How do I send the prescription?
Just like the ones we published in El Comidista: with a detailed ingredient list and exact amounts. Please, don’t be silly: nothing “like the size of a coriander stethoscope” or “like the palm of my paprika hand”. No. In units, grams, kilos, liters, milliliters, tablespoons or teaspoons.
Likewise, you must put the preparation to follow in the same way that we do it: written in the infinitive, with all the steps in order and specifying the exact times or moments in the preparation. For example: “1. First, put all the vegetables in a saucepan except the beans – the spinach can also be added at the end and just bring to a boil -, cover with plenty of cold water, bring to a boil and cook over a low heat for an hour and a half, replenishing water if necessary ”. And so on. The more detailed the description, the more likely you are to win.
Is photography essential?
Yes. The key is that your publication is the same as the one we took from the rest of the comidisters, with its recipe and its appetizing photos of the dish. If possible, with a minimum size of 1800 x 800 pixels (today almost any camera or mobile captures images with higher resolution, so you do not have to worry about that).
And what do I get?
Be the first Guest Comidista, publish your own recipe on our page and, as we have already said, the fabulous Ondarreta batch from Amaiketako, which will fill your pantry with rich and high quality foods. Add some culinary value to it and get involved!
