Former United States President Bill Clinton was admitted to a hospital in Southern California to be treated for an infection not related to COVID-19, a spokesperson reported Thursday night.
Angel Ureña also said that the former president “is recovering, is in a good mood and thanks the doctors, nurses and staff for providing excellent care.”
“After two days of treatment, his white blood cell count has dropped and he is responding well to antibiotics,” the doctors said. “The California-based medical team has been in constant communication with the President’s New York-based medical team, including his cardiologist. We hope he will go home soon.”
