Within the contest of the program Let the joy come, I want to sing!, where contestants from show business try to convince the jury of their vocal and musical talents, the rules have changed this week.
And it is that the morning of this Wednesday was disastrous for William Valdés, one of the contestants, because with the return of Horacio Villalobos to the forum of TV Azteca, a new tool was released that frightened the contestants: the red button.
Said attachment was made especially for Villalobos, and designed so that the driver will pressure him unceremoniously when one of the performances is not to his liking, and gives him the power to stop any presentation without the opportunity to continue.
The controversial presenter of the “Entertainment Zone” of the morning also announced that whoever became a creditor of said sanction, would receive only a five of direct qualification from him and would no longer be able to continue with his performance.
Although social network users did not believe that the dreaded button was ever used, it was two contestants who caused Villalobos’ fury: William Valdés and Natalia Alcocer, who had a “rebellious” reaction and defended their number.
It was Villalobos who premiered “his new toy” with the Cuban, who performed the song I like It, a song trap that, as he confessed, perhaps it was not going to be to the liking of the judges. William Valdés was in the middle of his presentation when Horacio pressed the button that abruptly stopped the number with a scandalous alarm. The driver’s annoyance was evident and he defended his effort.
However, for the entertainment journalist, the issue was tainted by the presence of high-sounding words typical of the genre trapIn addition to the fact that the assembly and tuning of Valdés did not stand out for him.
“It is not in discussion, it is my button, no way, it was a disaster, we had to cut it so it was like that, the red button has already entered circulation,” said Horacio. “He was short of breath, he was short of time, the lyrics were gone and that song has to be done with several voices, not just one voice, so you could hear an unprotected song,” he added.
“Yes you said bad words, you said like four, we cannot repeat them. Maybe you don’t know that they are bad words because you are not from here. The thing is, the song fell apart, dear, the event fell apart. And since this instrument is here, I think it will help them to do better, ”Villalobos said bluntly, before a grimace from Valdés.
This was not to the liking of the Cuban who attacked the also actor: “I am not the best singer, people on social networks and I join this rebellion, say that the judges have ups and downs with the participants; I wanted to bring something different from what they have done”,
Hours after the broadcast of the program, William Valdés shared on Twitter what for him was an injustice. Without mentioning Horacio Villalobos, the Cuban continued to defend his performance in the morning contest.
“The I Like It song did have curse words, which we removed. The only one I left was ‘Cabrón’, I didn’t know that in Mexico it’s a bad word. The pauses in the song were precisely because of those bad words and because I did not want to sing much in English. Be careful, the song was sent a week ago ”, the former MasterChef Celebrity participant began by detailing.
“It was so that they would have told me no. Mrs. Lyn May spread her legs, swore, touched her insides many times, and none of the jury said anything. I’m not comparing myself to Lyn May, she has a run. But I see why the rebellion, “he wrote.
