Different tables, different World Cups
The International Foosball Federation (ITSF) recognizes five foosball tables for international competitions: Tornado (USA), Leonhart (Ger), Garlando and Roberto (Ita) and Bonzini (Fra). There are small differences between the different tables: the American Tornado, for example, distinguishes itself from the others by, among other things, three puppets in front of the goal. The European tables have only one goalkeeper.
All table types have their own World Cup, of which those on the Tornado and the Leonhart are the most prestigious. A multi-World Cup is organized every two years, with players playing ‘away’ and ‘home’ at their favorite table.
