A trailer loaded with sorghum overturned on the highway to Morelia at the height of Las Cuatas in Tlajomulco, the driver took two trees and a pole, there were no injured people, traffic on the road was affected in both directions.
Municipal firefighters received the report around 5:35 p.m. this Monday about a heavy vehicle overturned near the town of Santa Cruz de las Flores.
Upon arrival of the emergency units, a white truck with a red box was found, overturned on its left side, in the direction of Morelia. He felled a post and two trees that were in the median of the road.
The accident affected the high-speed lanes in both directions, due to the objects it knocked down, in addition to the spilled sorghum that affected traffic in the direction towards Guadalajara.
The operator of the trailer, approximately 40 years old, was unhurt. His vehicle was carrying 51 tons of bulk sorghum. Until 20:00 hours, traffic on the Morelia-Guadalajara highway in both directions was normalized.
