COVID vaccine: They incorporate an evening session at the Benito Juárez Auditorium

This Monday afternoon, the Jalisco Health Secretariat (SSJ) incorporated the evening session of vaccination against COVID-19 in the metropolitan macromodule enabled in the Benito Juárez Auditorium, in Zapopan.

The health secretary, Fernando Petersen, supervised the evening shift under the Jalisco Vaccination Model, which includes the online appointment system. The owner invited the population to come at the specified time, only 15 minutes in advance.

“We are vaccinating 40 years and more, so we remind you one: do not miss your appointment, your appointments are very important and do not forget your papers,” said the public servant.

The vaccines that are being applied during the afternoon correspond to the active days according to the calendar. In the week of September 20 to 24, around 60 thousand second doses of the pharmaceutical company AztraZeneca will be applied before July 16.

Between 12,000 and 14,000 vaccines will be allocated per day to be applied from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

In the coming weeks in the evening shift, both second and first doses will be applied, according to the calls published on the social networks of the State Government.

They stressed that incidents will not be addressed in the afternoon, so they demand that only people go with the appointment issued on the platform https://vacunacion.jalisco.gob.mx in an open call.

The SSJ issued the following recommendations:

Do not miss the appointment, it is important to finish the complete vaccination schedule. Walk-ins will not be served. Do not come with symptoms of any respiratory disease. If in the last 15 days you have been in contact with someone positive for COVID-19, call the call centers: SSJ 33 3823 3220 and UdeG 33 3540 3001.
