Since the beginning of this week, people who have previously been vaccinated against the coronavirus by the GGD can still receive a note, stamp or sticker in the yellow booklet. People must, however, follow the instructions of the GGD, so that there is no delay at the vaccination street.
In practice, people underestimate what is involved in obtaining such a stamp. “Some come to a vaccination location with their camper or caravan and immediately expect a stamp or sticker,” a GGD spokesperson told the ANP.
In this way, insults and threats can arise in the event of disappointment. The GGD says it will immediately report any serious incident.
From 1 July, a certificate will apply in the European Union to travel between member states. With the Digital Corona Certificate, people can demonstrate that they have been vaccinated, tested or recovered from covid-19 and that they have developed antibodies against it.
It is the intention that the Dutch CoronaCheck app can also be used abroad from 1 July. But outgoing minister De Jonge kept yesterday a blow to the arm.
“We strive for as much harmonization as possible, but I do not rule out the possibility that we will eventually have to make bilateral agreements with some EU countries,” said De Jonge.
